Position: Journal Publishing Expert
Job Description
We are looking for highly skilled and experienced experts in scholarly journal publishing to join our team. As a journal publishing expert, you will be responsible for helping our clients (journal publishers) improve the quality of their journals and ensuring that they are included in reputable indexes and databases.
Responsibilities
Provide consulting services to scholarly journal publishers on the best practices for indexing their journals.
Identify relevant indexes and databases for each journal and help publishers prepare submissions.
Manage the submission process, including tracking progress and communicating with publishers and indexers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in scholarly journal indexing and share knowledge with clients and colleagues.
Requirements
Master’s degree or higher.
Fluent in English, as the working language is English.
At least 5 years of experience in the scholarly journal publishing sector, and familiarity with major indexing services such as Web of Science, Scopus, Pubmed, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of academic publishing and scholarly communication trends and issues.
